This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
First of all, we’re going to have a great time! I’ll guide you every step of the way with natural prompts and gentle direction so you never feel awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera. You don’t need modeling experience or a fully formed vision. If you’re not sure what you want yet, that’s absolutely okay - I’ve got you! Together we will create images that feel relaxed, authentic, and ultimately, you.
will you travel for our session?
Absolutely! I love exploring new locations. Travel within 20 miles from Wilmington, NC is included in my standard rates. Beyond that, travel is billed at $0.72 per mile. Any additional transportation costs—such as ferry tickets, flights, or other travel-related expenses—will be added to the total.
What is your rescheduling & cancellation policy?
Life happens! If you need to reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible so I can best accommodate you. While the creative fee is non-refundable, I’m always happy to work with you when communication is timely and transparent. Getting your session in is my top priority, however, please note that rescheduled dates may result in a longer wait time for your future session due to availability.
What if the weather isn't looking great for my
scheduled session?
Living in a coastal town, I understand how quickly weather can change — with pop-up summer storms, strong winds, & excessive heat that can all be a hindrance to your session. That being said, I closely monitor conditions and will reach out if weather may impact your session. If weather becomes a concern, I’m more than happy to reschedule your session as long as there is sufficient advance notice.
